Návrhy opatření pro zlepšení služeb seniorům ve vybraných městech

This Bachelor thesis deals with issue service improving for seniors. Its aim is analysing todays level of this service and provide concepts for improving. This thesis is divided in two main parts. The first one is focused on monitoring literary sources connected with this issue. There are described and in detail explained main findings. In the second, practical part, are interviews with officials and results of survey. According to all these informations there are defined concepts for service improving for seniors in selected localities.

The evolution of the Capital CIty of Prague's administration and self-govering municipalities from 1918 - 1960

This diploma thesis traces the development of the Capital City of Prague`s regional and municipal governmental bodies from 1918 to 1960. The work consists of five main chapters. The first chapter outlines the state of Prague`s municipality prior to 1918. The second chapter spans from 1918 (the birth of Czechoslovakia) to 1938 and the signing of the Munich Agreement. The third chapter covers the period of the Nazi occupation. The fourth chapter draws focus to the post-war developments in Czechoslovakia. The final chapter depicts the processes of public administration during the communist totalitarianism between 1948 and 1960. The objective of diploma thesis is describe important events in development of Capital City of Prague. The work also pays attention to individual representatives of Prague`s municipal politics. This bachelor thesis deals with how geographical information systems are used in public administration. It includes introduction to public administration and geo-graphical information systems. Also describes in which areas of public administra-tion are GIS used. The practical part is focused on how are GIS used in practice at Brno City Municipality. Here is described work of GIS department, asset of GIS for City Municipality and evalution of application and contribution for City Municipali-ty. Part of this part is also description of map application pertaining to gravestone of honorary graves, which is practical contribution of this bachelor thesis.
